This iris was first seen in (and purchased from) Bill Maryott's iris garden (back when he still lived in San Jose). That was quite a number of years ago.

It is planted in the Moon Garden, along the main garden pathway. By now, I should have been overrun with this iris, were it not for gophers, varying water (too much some years), neglect, overcrowding, and sinking-into-the-ground. Division is being done this year, which will hopefully bring back the bloom (which has been scant to non-existent the past few years).

The blooms are white, ruffled, and nice; there is not much more to be said on that point.
